GCC responds to the urgent requirement for empowering the Warli youth, women and men through skill education for self-employment and group employment in areas they inhabit. The Community College is not only academically oriented but considers the needs of the local community, its culture, aptitudes of the people and their interests.

GCC provides an alternative system of affordable education:

1. To meet the real needs of economically and educationally vulnerable communities
2. Through skill building for employment and livelihood
3. Training in local art and handicraft from available local resources
